Counseling & Trauma Therapy for Individuals in PA

You might be at a place in which you’re feeling overwhelmed, anxious, depressed, unsatisfied with life, or you want to know yourself better. Putting words to your experience, finding coherency of your internal and external experiences, and how to cope and/or heal is possible.

Every person has the capacity to grow, change, and find their version of healing from past experiences, especially with the support of their own inner resources. Working together, we can work to change negative beliefs about yourself, heal (or live differently with) emotional wounds, and cultivate more effective responses to all parts of your experiences.

I’m experienced working with folks struggling with many different kinds of trauma, posttraumatic stress, generalized anxiety, depressive symptoms, life transitions, low self-esteem, and difficulties with attunement to themselves.

I’m passionate about helping individuals find a sense of ease to be and feel like themselves again or for the first time.

While growing and learning as a therapist, I found focusing on, and at times centering, the mind-body connection to be effective in improving well-being, managing difficult emotions, and healing from past traumatic and distressing experiences. This is what led me to becoming certified in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR).
